I’m sure that you all realise just how proud I am of all of the youngsters in the Group and, of course, all of the Leaders and adult helpers who make it all happen.

One of the things that gives me a lovely warm glow is getting some praise for the youngsters and Leaders out of the blue. In particular it is great when we help out within our community and give something back to those who have supported us.

‘We would like to thank the Scouts very much indeed for their help at this year’s Butleigh Church Fete.
They understood what they were asked to do and did it with no fuss. They responded promptly to calls to do something and were willing, reliable, polite and efficient.They were a credit to the Barton St David Scouts.’
